TDI (Texas Department of Insurance) will hold an informal meeting to consider input from stakeholders regarding their interpretation of the offering of uninsured/underinsured (UM/UIM) motorist coverage for bodily injury and property damage under Texas Insurance Code, Section 1952.105(a) and (b).
Health Coverage for Children Younger than 19 Years of Age
The Texas Department of Insurance has prepared an informal working draft of rules concerning establishment of a voluntary open enrollment period and qualifying event exceptions for individual health coverage of children under the age of 19. In addition to the informal rules, a stakeholder meeting has been scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. on February 13, 2012, to discuss the informal working draft.
